Batman Beyond Restoration
Back in 2021, I was contacted to aid in the restoration of a cancelled Batman Beyond comic. The issue was the original Batman Beyond (Vol. 2) #3 written by Hilary J. Bader with art by Craig Rousseau and Rob Leigh. This comic centered around the group “The Terrific Trio” serving as a sequel to the episode of the Batman Beyond show where they appeared in. The story caused some issues with Marvel Comics as the group closely resembled The Fantastic Four. So the issue was shelved and replaced with another story.
Years later, Rousseau himself gave access to the pages that were worked on to a pop culture historian Mattie Savannah Pahl, who then later contacted me to help finish them, as most of the pages were only penciled by Rousseau. So I aided in inking the rest of the pages to attempt to preserve and realize the lost comic book story.
